Sophie Miller, LCSW-R

Sophie recently joined ICL as Senior Vice President of Supported Housing. She brings over 30 years of experience working with vulnerable New Yorkers in programs across the of the continuum of care and is a licensed clinical social worker.

Sophie began her career at Community Access as a Case Manager in the Treatment Apartment (TAP) program and progressed there to become a Program Director. She then worked as an inpatient social worker in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting. In 2001, she joined the Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) as a manager at the Times Square Hotel Supported Housing Program, a 650-bed supported housing program. She went on to serve as Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement starting in 2004, overseeing compliance, quality assurance, program evaluation, staff training, and the agency’s electronic health record. She was named Deputy Chief Strategy Officer in 2025, taking on additional projects and responsibilities.

Sophie holds an MSW from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a BA in Political Science and French Literature from Rutgers University.
