Institute for Community Living’s David Woodlock Named by City & State as One of 100 Most Influential Nonprofit Leaders in New York
ICL’s President and CEO honored for his commitment to improving health care outcomes in New York City’s most distressed communities
(New York, N.Y.)—David Woodlock, President and CEO of the Institute for Community Living (ICL), was named to City & State’s “Nonprofit Power 100,” the most influential nonprofit leaders in New York. City & State is a well-known media outlet covering politics and policy in New York City and State. The list ranks individuals who “have spearheaded major accomplishments, dug into political and policy issues, connected with powerful elected officials and provided for their communities across the state.”
“I am very pleased to receive this honor from City & State, to see the hard work we’ve done to help people achieve greater health and well-being be recognized this way. I share this award with the dedicated staff and board of ICL, who make all of this possible,” said David Woodlock, ICL CEO.
In an article announcing the honorees, City & State said that Woodlock “took ICL’s mission of supporting those living with mental illness, substance use and developmental disabilities to new heights last year,” with the opening of the brand new, $33 million East New York Health Hub. Working in partnership with CHN (Community Healthcare Network) as a medical services partner, the Hub’s integrated physical and behavioral healthcare has been described as a “the best of its kind” and a “national model.”
