Jessica Bittner Brings More Than 2 Decades of Experience in Executive Roles for Nationally Recognized Organizations in Human Services, Health Care, and Higher Education
The Role of Chief People Officer Is a New Position that Reflects Institute for Community Living’s Investment in Its Workforce and the Professional Development of Its Staff
(New York, N.Y.)—Today, the Institute for Community Living (ICL), a nonprofit organization that provides New Yorkers with behavioral health challenges with comprehensive housing, health care, and recovery services to support them in living healthy and fulfilling lives, announced Jessica Bittner as its new Chief People Officer.

Ms. Bittner’s career spans nearly two decades in leadership roles for nationally recognized organizations in the fields of human services, health care, and higher education. Committed to diversity and inclusion, she has successfully developed talent and demonstrated a keen ability to leverage data and technology for operational modernization. She has spearheaded transformative initiatives in her previous roles, resulting in measurable improvements in employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational performance. Her innovative approaches have consistently led to the implementation of forward-thinking human resources practices.

Ms. Bittner holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Long Island University. She has held roles at SCO Family of Services, Northwell Health, and NYC Health + Hospitals. Most recently, she was the Vice President and Regional Human Resources Officer for Northwell Health.
