David Woodlock, ICL CEO, has been named the recipient of the National Council for Behavioral Health’s 2018 Visionary Award to be presented in Washington, D.C. during the Awards of Excellence celebration in conjunction with the National Council Conference – NatCon18.
The National Council for Behavioral Health’s Awards of Excellence recognize leaders and organizations in behavioral health care for their ingenuity, hard work and dedication to improving the lives of Americans living with mental illnesses and addictions.
For more than four decades, David Woodlock has been providing exceptional leadership to mental health communities to work toward achieving meaningful outcomes for people from all walks of life. As CEO of ICL, he has become a leading advocate for whole person health that addresses the full range of a person’s emotional, social and physical needs. ICL’s work in this area was honored by SAMHSA (federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) with its 2017 Recognition of Excellence Award in Wellness, one of only three organizations selected from around the country.
Hailed as health care’s behavioral health conference, NatCon18 will convene more than 5,000 behavioral health professionals who will discuss processes, solutions and outcomes that transform the behavioral health landscape.
As a part of the recognition, David will receive $10,000 to donate to a cause or organization of his choosing.
