DONATING GOODS
Please note: This page is updated regularly with any changes to our policies, and we encourage you to check back before preparing a donation.
When you donate clothing, food and personal care items to ICL, you positively impact the lives of New Yorkers struggling with homelessness and poverty. Thank you for donating to help your neighbors in need.
Our process is simple:
- Tell us what you would like to donate and to which borough you’d like to deliver or send your donation. You can also earmark your donation for a specific site.
Note: Designating a borough or site is not required. - We will connect you to the appropriate site(s) via email so you can work with them on the delivery of the item(s).
- Due to space restrictions and limited access to transportation, we do not have the means to pick up your donation.
- Once the site confirms receipt of your donation, a tax acknowledgment letter will be sent to your attention within 24 hours. Below you will find a list of items we accept, as well as items we cannot accept.
