ICL keeps detailed records about clients, including residential placement and clinical histories. These records are confidential and Federal and State law dictate the circumstances in which they may be disclosed. The agency routinely fulfills requests for information from current clients/their families, former clients, courts, community-based practitioners, general social service agencies, hospitals, and other service providers. There are many options for clients to request access to their own information. For tracking purposes, all other requestors must submit their requests in writing, along with any required supporting documentation (e.g., HIPAA authorization, Power of Attorney, etc.,) by emailing iclrecordsrequest@iclinc.net.
