Institute for Community Living Hosts Spring Gala “Celebrating Hope & Recovery”

Annual Event Supports Nonprofit’s Health, Housing, and Recovery Services for People Living with Mental and Behavioral Health Challenges

(New York, NY) – The Institute for Community Living (ICL), a premier provider of whole health care for children, adults, and families living with serious mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities, held its annual Spring Gala on May 22 at The Pierre Hotel in New York City.

The organization raised mission-critical funds for its comprehensive community-based services. The festive evening featured a cocktail reception, dinner, and an auction, and a moving program that featured ICL’s “Coffee On Us” video, which addresses the stigma attached to challenges many New Yorkers face—including mental health, substance use, and homelessness.

Brighid Gannon was honored as ICL’s “Whole Health Partner of the Year” and American Eagle Outfitters was recognized as ICL’s “Corporate Partner of the Year” at the event.”

“We are grateful to our donors, partners, and staff for joining us to celebrate hope and recovery,” said Jody Rudin, President and CEO of ICL. “Our whole health services in shelters, supportive housing, and community-based programs ensure that every New Yorker has the opportunity to achieve their goals. The impact of our programs is only possible because of our generous supporters.”
